MP Capital works primarily with companies in the mid-market space and assists them in achieving their strategic objectives. MP Capital facilitates its clients to make informed decisions based on analysis and advice that is independent, objective and transparent.

Founded in 2012 by Nick Peterson and Stephen Mitchell, MP Capital’s larger office by staff is in Melbourne, Australia. We now have a team of six senior executives all with approximately 20 years’ experience in major investment banks. This is supplemented by a team providing analytical support and office services.

MP Capital also has an office in Hong Kong to focus on the Asia-Pacific region.

MP Capital has a number of clients spanning across Asia that are raising capital, conducting acquisitions and divestments, and expanding through new projects. MP Capital’s Hong Kong office is focussed on advising and assisting such clients achieve their growth objectives.

Asian capital markets provide a strong source of funding for international investment including private equity, hedge funds, credit platforms, family offices, and strategic investors. MP Capital’s Hong Kong office provides a link for these investors to opportunities in Australia and across other parts of Asia.

The core focus of the office is to service such clients in China, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
